Ready to begin your author journey? Here’s how to set up your FireForge account:
Register Your Account: Sign up using your email and create a strong, unique password.
Verify Email: Check your inbox for a verification link and click it to activate your account.
Set Pen Name & Bio: This is your public author identity, so choose a name that represents you and write a compelling bio to attract readers.
Note: You must be 16 years or older to create an account.
Bringing your stories to readers is straightforward with FireForge.
Create Your First Story
Story Details: Fill in essential information like your story’s title, synopsis, genre, and tags. Don’t forget to upload a captivating cover image!
Pricing: Decide if your story will be Free or Premium. With premium, you earn revenue each time a reader unlocks a chapter.
Submit for Review: Once ready, submit your story. Our editors will review and approve content within 48 hours.
Editing Published Content
Important: You cannot update story details (title, synopsis, genre, etc.) once a story is published.
To edit a published chapter, you must first unpublish it, make your edits, then republish.
Chapter Management
Minimum Chapter Length: Each chapter must be at least 1000 words long.
Engage Readers: Use cliffhangers to keep your readers hooked and eager for the next installment.
Publish Regularly: Consistency is key to growing and retaining your audience.

Revenue Model
Default Contract: Non-Exclusive Publishing
All authors are automatically enrolled in the Non-Exclusive Publishing Contract. This means:
You retain full rights to your work.
You are free to publish your stories elsewhere if you choose.
Revenue Split: You receive 50% of earnings, and the platform receives 50%.
Exclusive Contract (Optional)
For authors seeking a deeper partnership within the FictionFlux ecosystem, you can apply for an Exclusive Contract. This offers:
Higher Earnings: Enjoy a 60% Author / 40% Platform revenue split.
Additional Promotional Opportunities: Benefit from increased visibility and marketing support.
Commitment: You agree to publish the contracted work exclusively within the FictionFlux ecosystem.

Payment Schedule
Payouts: Processed Monday–Friday of the last complete week of the month.
Minimum Payout: You must have a minimum balance of ₦15,000 to receive a payout.
Processing Time: Payments typically take 3–5 business days to reflect in your account.

What’s Allowed
Original, High-Quality Fiction: You must fully own the rights to your submitted work.
All Genres Welcome: We embrace a wide range of genres, including romance, fantasy, thriller, historical fiction, and more, as long as they are appropriate for our readers.
Human-Authored Stories: Stories must be written by humans. While AI tools can assist with brainstorming, fully AI-generated stories are not permitted.
What’s Not Allowed
Plagiarism: Copying or presenting someone’s work as your own is strictly prohibited.
AI-Generated Stories: Content that is entirely written by AI without significant human creative input.
Low-Quality Content: Spammy, incoherent, or poorly written material.
Explicit Material: Graphic sexual content or extreme violence.
Hate Speech: Discriminatory, harmful, or abusive content targeting individuals or groups.
Note: Stories dealing with sensitive topics (e.g., self-harm, abuse) require clear trigger warnings at the beginning of the story or chapter.
