FictionFlux uses a small number of cookies and similar local storage to keep the site working and to remember your preferences. We don't use them to sell your data.
What we use
- Essential — keep you signed in (your session token) and secure the site. These can't be turned off without breaking core functionality.
- Preferences — remember choices such as your light/dark theme.
- Analytics (minimal) — basic, aggregated usage to help us improve the reading experience.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will sign you out and may stop parts of FictionFlux from working.
