How do coins work?
Coins are FictionFlux's currency. Spend them to unlock individual chapters of serialised stories, or to buy a complete book to read or download.
What's the difference between purchased and bonus coins?
Purchased coins are bought (or granted by a subscription) and can pay for anything, including downloads. Bonus coins are earned from tasks and can be spent on reading, but not on downloads.
Read license vs. download — what do I get?
A read license unlocks the whole book to read on FictionFlux. A download license lets you keep the file (EPUB or DOCX) — it requires purchased coins and is final once downloaded.
How do I get coins?
Top up from your Wallet, earn bonus coins by completing tasks, or subscribe to Premium for a regular allotment of credits.
Can I get a refund?
A coin purchase can be refunded within 24 hours, provided you have not spent any of those coins yet — once they are spent, that purchase is no longer refundable and individual unlocks cannot be reversed. Requests are reviewed before a refund is issued. Downloads are final once the file has been delivered. If you bought coins through the App Store or Google Play, their refund policies apply and you should contact them first.
